Drunk Elephant Part II
Two Drunk Elephant posts in one week! Whaaaat?? A lot have you have reached out inquiring about this brand, and for good reason, it's awesome! While the whole line is amazing, there are two products from the brand that really stick out to me. I have used a lot of product in my day, so for something to stop me in my tracks like this is pretty spectacular.
First, I'll start with the Lala Cream. I have been using this moisturizer for quite some time now and I love it more and more each time. Why you ask? Well, for starters, it's actually moisturizing. There is nothing worse than thinking a cream will actually solve your dry skin probs when it reality it just sits on your skin and does nothing. The Lala cream is not like that. I think it's because it's a whipped blend of six oils that really nourish the skin, and since it doesn't contain any silicone it absorbs in seconds. It absorbs so quickly that I use it as a hand cream on occasion as well. If this came in a container big enough I would put it all over my body.
Let's shift focus to my newest obsession, the TLC Sukari Babyfacial. I don't know why I was so hesitant to try this peel. I'm obsessed with anything with acid in it, the more the merrier! But for some reason I kept pushing this one to the side. Well, that was dumb, because I finally tried it out and now I am over the moon with how my skin looks and feels. It blew the cells right off my face and now my skin is congestion free and it's even helping lift out a scar that has been lingering around! OBSESSED. I admit, I've only used this peel three times, but I'm excited to see what happens with continued use.
So, why am I talking about these? Sure they're my personal favorite products from DE line, but I was just as blown away by these products mixed together as I was when I used them separately. Yes, I said mixed together. I love that the Babyfacial smooths out my texture, and I appreciate how hydrating the Lala cream is, but why can't your peel by hydrating as well?? Since it's so terribly dry out, mixing a couple pumps of the Babyfacial with the Lala cream saves time by sweeping away the dead skin cells as it hydrates all in one step. And who wouldn't want to save some time?
I like to alternate between using these products individually and mixing them together. But no matter what, I always put the Virgin Marula Oil on top. It really locks in moisture and gives my skin the perfect glow and I love it. Maybe I'm just obsessed with every Drunk Elephant product...
