Is it just me or do products seem to run out all at the same time? Within a week I ran out of eye cream, cleanser, cleansing water and moisturizer. I was excited to try out some new stuff though and I was surprised at how much I liked a couple of them.
I know I know, another cleansing balm, who cares? Well, I'm here to tell you this one is a big deal. It will completely melt off a full face of makeup including mascara, and it does not leave a residue like most balms. It has an invigorating minty smell and it is ever so tingly on your skin making it a joy to use every evening after work.
I got this as a 100 point perk at Sephora a while back and I have been loving it ever since. I haven't tried many Clarins products but every time I do I become obsessed. Maybe it's the packaging that makes me forget their product is amazing, but they always do what they say they will and I am always shocked. It has a thin texture that looks great under makeup and can be used on the eyelid and brow bone as well as the undereye.
I did not expect to love this as much as I did. I don't know if it's the texture or the lovely scent or how luminous it makes my skin but I am obsessed. I have always hated using primers since I think they make my makeup look a little cakey but this perfectly smooths out every flaw and people are constantly asking me what makeup I'm wearing. Plot twist, it's just this skin perfecter what whatever BB cream over it. I'm already worried about running out of this one.
I've talked about this product before here, but it surprised me with its true potential recently. As you may have read before, I have a minor scar on my face from some cellulitis. I used this peel one day not really thinking much of it, and overnight the texture of my scar was drastically minimized. It was even a little less red. I've never used this peel on a deeper scar before but if you're looking for a product that will help with that I highly recommend you look into this one.
