VIB Rouge Sale Haul

I have never gotten as many questions as I did with the Sephora VIB sale. You guys were ready for this sale and definitely wanted to maximize the discount. And I understand, that sale is awesome! Lately I have only been shopping at Sephora when they are having a sale, so I keep an eye out for some things before to see what is really worth buying. I decided to get the most out of my money and get the Perk Hydrating facial while I was shopping since it's free with a $75 purchase. I knew I was going to spend $75, so why not get a facial too?

I will admit that I went into Sephora with intentions of buying specific things, and when I saw all the new stuff they put out I lost all control. Did I buy more than I intended? Yes. Will I most likely be returning to buy some more things? Of course. But for now, let's look at what I decided to splurge on this weekend.

Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner

Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner

I asked to try this when I was getting the Perk facial since I have had my eye on it for so long (I am a huge sucker for CoQ-10). I was initially blown away by the scent of this mist, and then I realized it was in a glass bottle and I was sold. This was truly an impulse buy but I regret nothing. Plus, the mist is pretty fine on this so I may try to use it as a setting spray in the future. I can also see myself buying an extra to keep in my gym bag.

Dr. Brandt Needles No More

This is the next best thing to botox and for half an ounce at $89, it is not cheap. I usually only buy this when it comes in a kit and it's marked down, and luckily they still had a kit in stock at the Sephora I went to (I couldn't find it online, but they put this full size in a kit all the time so it's a better bang for your buck). This is what my sister asked for for her birthday and I told her I would get it if she didn't mind me posting about it on my blog before her birthday. She thought that was fair.

Watermelon Jelly Sheet Mask

You can imagine how disappointed I have been with myself that I haven't tried this sheet mask yet. I was not expecting to see it in store so when I did see it I freaked out and had to get one. It's not that expensive so it wasn't a huge deal but I can see myself falling in love with this mask and buying a bunch more. I am especially excited to try this since it's a clear jelly texture so I won't have to walk around my house looking like a scary monster.

Biossance Squalane & Bamboo Deodorant

I have issues with all deodorants and antiperspirants. Antiperspirants make my lymph nodes swell up and it is very common for natural deodorants to use arrowroot powder in their products, which I am allergic to! Needless to say, I do not have happy armpits. I have recently found two natural deodorants that don't use arrowroot powder and they are both sold at Sephora! If you tuned in to my Instagram story yesterday I had a poll to see which one I should get (I was torn between this one and the Kopari) I decided to go with the Biossance since I was intrigued by their ingredient list. I will probably end up buying the Kopari and comparing them eventually.

Ouai Scalp & Body Scrub

My pits and my scalp have been giving me hella trouble lately. My pits, see above, but I got a shampoo and conditioner in the mail and it has dried out my scalp so much that I have scabbed over spots now! Ah! My roots look oily yet my scalp won't stop flaking. My hair is truly a disaster right now. I think a hair scrub will do me some good and I wasn't expecting to buy one but I saw they put the Ouai one on the shelf and the only other one I have liked was $50. Ooph. This was reasonably priced, and you can use it on your body, and with the sale I couldn't resist.

Now, what about this Perk hydrating facial?

If you haven't tried this hydrating facial at your local Sephora you must find out where you can get one. You can go online and see who has it in your area, and it's free with a $75 purchase. Basically, it sucks all the gunk out of your pores while pushing lactic acid and hyaluronic acid serum into your pores at the same time. At the end you can see all the nasty dead skin cells and oil in a jar, which is satisfying and gross. If you want to see a video of it in action I found a link for it here, and if you are in Louisiana the Lakeside Sephora has the Perk. Let me know if you try it!
